I run a little painted furniture shop in Bridgnorth, Shropshire.

 I recycle older unloved furniture to give each piece  a new lease of life and to prevent it going into landfill, as that's where much of this beautiful well made stuff often sadly ends up.

I use Chalk paint, usually 2 coats that I apply by hand, then I carefully distress each piece with fine sandpaper, then hand wax which sets the paint & protects it from wear.

So if a bit of paint & wax and a lot of elbow grease is what it takes to give these beautiful well made pieces the love they deserve, then that is what I endeavor to do.

I also sell other vintage bits and bobs like china, old books, and anything of interest that I can find.
